The 2018 Minneapolis Downtown Council Annual Gala Featuring the 2025 Plan Leadership Awards Presented by YA

YA and the Minneapolis Downtown Council (MDC) Partner on Another Great Event   

On October 2nd the MDC honored 6 people, organizations and initiatives that made significant contributions to Minneapolis in 2018 and in commitment to the 2025 Plan. The event was held at the Minneapolis Event Center and was kicked off with an introduction by Mayor Jacob Frey. In addition, awards were presented by Police Chief Medaria Arradondo, YA's President and CEO, Chris Behrens and many other prestigious members of the downtown civic and business community.

“Our 2025 plan focuses on goals that will keep downtown extraordinary and thriving as a 21st Century City, and it takes incredible effort and initiative by our community to make it possible,” said Steve Cramer, president & CEO of the Mpls downtown council and Mpls Downtown Improvement District. “We are thrilled to present this year’s 2025 plan leadership awards to a group that collectively has made an incredible impact on our downtown community through their investment in our city’s core.”
